Keep going, you're doing it right.

Maybe you were on a "modernization journey" when the AI wave hit.  Probably now you're on a modernization race.  Or maybe you're vibe coding everything from scratch.  Regardless, your modern, api-driven microservice-based apps are probably all talking to AIs by now.  For something or other.

But what is the competition doing?  They're rethinking their product strategy so that AIs are the interface.  Providing value to AIs is really the only way your message is going to get through the screen.  No more broadcast pitches, you've got to know what the buyer's AI is looking for.

So what are the AIs looking for?  Whatever we tell them to.  Turns out they're not very "creative" on their own.  So the seller's AI is going to have to tell the buyer's AI just the right things to match up to the description the buyer has.  Luckily the seller has a super power.  The people who run your AI and bill you for it are also telling the sellers of various products that have offerings in markets you're interested in about your buying habits.

Which is cool, right?  'Cause now all the ads you slog through are relevant.

Or you can cap off your modernization journey by pulling the AI functionality you need in-house.  At least the AIs that help you run your business.
